Live Healthier With Envura

Envura’s mission is to help people live a longer and healthier life. Inspired by “Blue Zone regions”, we encourage nutrition, exercise, and socialization to live a longer and healthier life. A “Blue Zone” is a region where inhabitants live much longer lives than average. These regions are the home to some of the oldest people on our planet. It’s why we want to share that inspiration with you.

Blue Zones have three fundamental ways that can help boost your lifespan:
1) Healthy Eating
2) Social Connections
3) Exercise

People in the world are in a constant fight with obesity, heart disease, and cancer. These diseases often stem from consuming unhealthy foods on a regular basis. Healthier foods are slowly becoming more inconvenient compared to fast food available at every street corner. People in Blue Zones rarely consume processed food. As a result, obesity, heart disease, and cancer is much more rare in these areas.

Obtaining a diet full of nutrients like Blue Zone societies do is challenging. Developed societies have overused soil that is depleted of nutrients. Growing food in these soils does not provide a surplus of nutrients as it once did many years ago. The issues and inconveniences of eating whole foods is a reason we created Envura health. We supplement with vitamins to boost nutrient intake, similar to what blue zone societies experience.

Socialization is key to a healthy life. To live healthy, it's important to focus on both physical and mental health. Many people overlook mental health as it’s often not measurable. While mental health isn’t directly measurable, there’s lots of research that shows how social connections increase the quality and longevity of life. It should be no surprise that Blue Zones put social connections of family and friends at the center of their lives. Blue Zone societies improve their wellness through social stimulation which is something that developed nations struggle with. An easy way to maintain social connections is to sit down and eat dinner with your loved ones, once a week.

We cannot emphasize enough how important it is to be active every day. Regular exercise spreads nutrients all across the body and has scientifically been proven to increase your health. Most people in Blue Zones walk as a means of transportation, and get exercise through their daily lives as they often work physical jobs throughout the day. We recommend a minimum of 15-20 minutes of physical exercise, three days a week, as a good way to begin exercising.
